Early on in the match, Luton conceded two goals, within the first ten minutes. Afterwards, we were warmed up and found our ‘groove.’(quoting from the team captain) and the match was fairly even.
The pitch was very sandy, causing lots of slips and unbalanced players, but the weather was mild. Near the 50’th minute, Luton scored our only goal(by Tom) giving a big boost to morale. There was also a series of consecutive short corners, likely breaking a record as it reached nine attempts before the opposing team were able to break out.
In the last few minutes of the game, a penalty flick was awarded to the opposing team, resulting in a final 3-1 score to them. Despite the score, the game was very friendly, with lots of laughter and banter, and Luton left the pitch in a very cheerful mood. All in all, both teams played excellently.
