1st Game Of The Season

It’s the 1st game of the season & Luton were looking to start off strong, but with a few key players missing it was going to be tough & the heat didn’t help either.
Fortunately for Luton they were able to get an early goal after a shot from Benn Waller deflected to Tarlochan Singh.
Welwyn tried to get a goal back but were unsuccessful due to the Luton defence & young goalkeeper Joseph Gough.
Luton were then able to get a second goal after a shot from Alfie Hutton fell to Benn Waller who put it over the line.
End of the 1st half 2-0 to Luton.
Luton came out of the second half strong but so did Welwyn. who were still trying to get back into the game with a goal, but were still unsuccessful.
A yellow card for the Luton centre back didn’t help but Luton were still able to keep Welwyn from scoring.
Not too long after Luton were back to 11 players on the field, Alfie Hutton set up Benn Waller for Luton’s 3rd goal.
Both teams were getting tired & the heat was starting to get to them, with both teams unable to score.
The match ended 3-0 to Luton.
Man of the Match was Justin Coward.
