Luton were undefeated in their last 3 games & were hoping to extend that to 4 against St Albans this week.
The Luton team started strong, with multiple attacks, until Nikhil Dodhia found Chris May in the D to give Luton the early lead.
Luton continued the pressure, but couldn’t quite get the ball in the goal a 2nd time. That was until Nikhil Dodhia found Chris May again to increase their lead to 2-0.
More of the same for the rest of the 1st half, with St Albans trying to get themselves back into the game, but the Luton defence kept them from scoring.
It was 2-0 at halftime.
The 2nd half was more of the same, but with St Albans putting Luton under a bit more pressure.
Eventually Luton were able to get a 3rd goal, this time from
Nikhil Dodhia after a pass from Chris May.
Before long, St Albans went on the attack & were able to keep the ball in the Luton half for quite some time. Unfortunately for them, they were unable to score.
Luton eventually got the ball into the opposition half & won a short corner, which was hit into the bottom corner by Benn Waller to increase Luton’s lead to 4-0.
The game ended 4-0 to Luton which now puts them 2nd place in the league.
