Luton Town Men’s 4s vs Letchworth Men’s 5s

Unfortunate Start To The Season

Luton came into their 1st league game of the season with confidence after their win against Leighton Buzzard in a friendly last week.
The game started & Letchworth started very strong, with Luton trying hold them off, but eventually Letchworth were about to score.
Luton were kept in the game by some great saves from goalkeeper Kyle Beirne.
After a few attempts at getting into the Letchworth D by Luton, the ball ended up with Nikhil Dodhia & he passed it to Benn Waller who just about got the ball passed the defenders & goal keeper before it rolled over the line.
The rest of the 1st half was Letchworth trying to get their lead back but being stopped by the Luton goalkeeper & Luton trying to counter attack.
1-1 at halftime.
The 2nd half Luton came out trying to get another goal, but Letchworth were able to counter & get a 2nd for themselves instead.
The game continued with a lot of attacks by Letchworth & Luton getting a few in as well.
Eventually though Letchworth were on ce again able to beat the Luton goalkeeper to increase their lead to 3-1.
Luton were able to make a few more attacks, which lead to a short corner. Unfortunately when the ball fell to Tarlochan Singh it went in off the back of his stick.
The last 5-10 minutes Luton started to get more control of the game as the Letchworth team started to tire.
Unfortunately Luton were unable to get another goal, despite the of the Luton players.

Game ended 3-1 to Letchworth.

Man of the Match-Nikhil Dodhia.
