It was the Luton men’s 4s last game of the season & they were hoping to end the season with a win.
Luton started strong, with multiple attempts on goal by a combination of Steven Pierce, Chris May & Justin Coward, but was unable to score.
There were a few more chances for Luton, including a shot from Benn Waller & eventually Dean Pierce was able to find the goal to put Luton up 1-0.
Luton kept the pressure on Stevenage & the ball came to Steven Pierce, who just about got contact with the ball that somehow managed to roll into the goal & it was 2-0.
They were multiple more chances for Luton but Stevenage managed a few attacks but was stopped by the Luton defence.
At halftime, it was 2-0 to Luton.
Stevenage started off the second half strong & eventually won a short corner, which was scored from a great flick into the goal.
The second half went back & forth between both teams, but Stevenage was unable to beat the Luton defence again.
Luton went on the attack & the ball was passed by Justin Coward to Dean Pierce & Luton extended their lead to 3-1.
There were more chances by both teams but neither could score another goal.
The game ended 3-1 to Luton & a great way to end their season.
