Luton were looking to make it 2 wins in a row after their win 2 weeks ago against St Albans.
Luton started the match strong & not long into the 1st half they won a short corner, which Justin Coward hit into the bottom corner to put Luton 1-0 up.
Luton tried to keep the pressure on, but after a counter attack by Shefford & Sandy was cleared off the line by Tony May. Unfortunately it hit the back of his stick & Shefford & Sandy were awarded a penalty stroke, which goalkeeper Kyle Beirne wasn't quite able to get to.
The score at half time was 1-1.
The 2nd half was back & forth between both teams, until a ball was played into Alfie Hutton from Justin Coward to put Luton 2-1 up.
Not long after Luton once again took the lead, Shefford & Sandy counter attack & scored to once again bring the score level.
With just over 15 minutes left in the game, Chris May put the ball into Robin Barnes to put Luton ahead again.
Not long after Benn Waller was able to find Robin Barnes in the D to extend Luton's lead to 4-2.
Borh teams had a few more chances at goal but the game ended 4-2.
Tony May was voted Man of the Match after the game with both Corey Hewitt & Rupert Page close behind.
