After a good showing for most of the match in last weeks loss, Luton were looking for a better result this week against Hertford.
Luton started strong, with multiple chances from the combined efforts of Chris May, Justin Coward & Zak Sharif, but couldn't quite transition them into a goal.
Luton continued to create chances until a counter attack from Hertford led to a short corner. Hertford converted the short corner into the 1st goal of the game.
After an encounter with a Hertford player, a yellow card was shown to Justin Coward. With only 10 men on the pitch, Luton working well as a team, went straight back on the attack & didn't let Hertford take advantage of having an extra player.
Luton continued on the attack for the rest of the 1st half but still couldn't find a goal.
The 2nd half was more of the same from Luton, with all attacks from Hertford stopped by a combination of Ian Hutton, Rupert Page, Anand Singh, Tony May & Corey Hewitt rotating as the back 4, leaving goalkeeper Kyle Beirne not much to do & he started dancing on his goal line.
A few more attacks from Luton, with some great runs from Harpreet Uppal & Alfie Hutton, which unfortunately led to no goals.
The game ended 1-0 to Hertford.
Chris May was voted man of the match with Harpreet Uppal, Ian Hutton & Zak Sharif close behind.
