With multiple players unavailable this week, it was going to be a struggle for the Luton team. Luton started strong, but an unfortunate injury to the centre back Ian Hutton about 5 minutes into the game allowed St Albans to take control of the game & not long after the 1st goal came for St Albans & a second not long after that.
Luton managed to get a goal back from a great strike from Robin Barnes.
After some great saves from goalkeeper Kyle Beirne, St Albans once again scored. Straight from the pushback St Albans counter attacked & scored again, making it 4-1 going into halftime.
In the 2nd half Luton were still struggling, but managed to keep St Albans from scoring again with some great goal line saves from both Kyle Beirne & Tony May.
Eventually St Albans once again found the net, making it 5-1.
Luton managed to get back on the offensive & after a few chances just missed by both Benn Waller & Robin Barnes, Alfie Hutton to get a shot off & scored.
Not long after, St Albans found the goal again & the match ended 6-2.
Kyle Beirne was named man of the match after the game.
