This was the Mens 3s first league game following promotion last season, with the opposition an unknown quantity. The die was cast from the first push back as Luton seized the ball – and the initiative – immediately going forward and creating a number of shooting opportunities.
Luton’s Alex Robinson scored four on his return to the forward line, and Nathan McNeil put away two in his first full game as a striker. The other Luton scorers were David Pike, midfield player with 2 goals, forward Cameron Bright with 1 goal and Will Smith scoring 2. There was also the welcome return of Mohsin Gulshar to the team, who played a good defensive game at the back.
Final score Luton 11, St Albans 1
