Last second goal earns Luton Town all 3 points when Garry Newman stepped up to score an FIFA 'Jew' goal.

Week 4 and unbeaten so far and with confidence high Luton faced a tough away fixture to a well organised but ill-disciplined side from

With a week a wash with torrential rain and flood warnings Southbury Leisure centre was an idyllic summer setting with temperatures soring to a barmy 21 degrees.
Luton’s confidence was high coming into this fixture and took instant control of the game with high pressure, high tempo pass and move hockey. The pressure finally paid off with a well taken goal from Cameron Sarrington to set the away team off to a resounding start half way through the first half.

Methodical passing and retained possession throughout the first half, marred only by a lapse of concentration at the back saw a suicide ball played across the ‘D’ to Alex Powell who under pressure miss hit his pass straight to the oppositions left winger. A quick 1-2 past Tom Dobson who up until this point had been a mere spectator to level the score at 1-1 at the interval.

Second half saw the home team come out strong on the back of their goal just before the break only to thwarted by the Luton’s resilient defence. Against the run of play Luton regained some composure and with the help of their latest international superstar Alan Kennedy with a truly presidential goal to put the visitors back in control of the game.

The home supporters getting restless seemed to inspire the home team who after a well worked short corner scored a rebound to level the score again with 10 minutes to go.

Luton needed to find that 4th gear to ensure they kept a rejuvenated Winchmore Hill & Enfield at bay for the final 10 minutes. Garry “cool hand” Newman and Cameron Sarrington stepped up with what will affectionately be known from this day forward as a FIFA13 goal, by playing an intricate 1-2 around the Winchmore Hill & Enfield GK to put the score at a well-deserved 3-2 to the away side.

The game a foot, Luton struggled to contain wave after wave of attacking hockey from the home side who in the last minute won themselves a penalty corner, the final whistle gone the pressure of losing their first home game of the season seemed to play on the minds of the PC squad and ball passing beyond the allowed 5 yards of the D the game was over and Luton Town proudly and deservedly sitting at the top end of the table.
