Hard Battle

Luton Ladies 1s were unlucky not to go ahead first in a tough fought game against Leighton Buzzard 1s. Town found gaps in the oppositions defence and had several chances early on  to take a good lead but couldn't find the net. 
Buzzard took advantage and scored first through a short corner. Determined to come back, Town equalised straight away through Suzanne Starkey in open play. 
Leighton again took the lead, but we're pegged back through another impressive strike from Starkey. 
The game was wide open at 2-2 with exciting end to end play and Town managed to get their noses in front, converting a short coner through Clare Philby. But, with 8 minutes to go, the home teams defence were unable to prevent Buzzard from equalising.
