Your chance to give back to the club.

As the season fast approaches, the need to find members to help cover the umpiring requirements of the club grows.

With the clubs current six teams, we need to provide at least six umpires a Saturday; often these are players covering other teams.

Becoming a Level 1 umpire is easy, all you need to do is to pass a basic online rules test and attend a one day workshop.

Being a Level 1 (Unassessed) umpire allows you to umpire every team in the club except the Mens and Ladies 1s (Umpires must be Assessed).

The England Hockey Level 1 umpire course costs £50 and the club pays £10 per game umpired, perfect for students looking to earn some extra cash or adults looking to offset their membership fees (you may also find your game improves).
