With some players missing & a last minute replacement in goal with Anthony May stepping for the 1st time, it was going to be an uphill battle for Luton.
Luton tried to go on the attack early, but unfortunately were unable to take the lead & Shefford were able to score instead.
Luton didn’t give up & managed to level the score thanks to a goal from Christopher May.
Before the 2nd half was over Shefford managed to get 1 more goal to end the half 2-1 up.
Luton tried to get back into the game in the 2nd half but Shefford were able to extend their lead witn 2 more goals.
Luckily for for Luton, Christopher May was able to score again to try & get Luton back in the game.
An unfortunate shot from Shefford ended up hitting debuting Michael Richardson in the face, leaving Luton down to 12 players.
Shefford took advantage & scored 4 more goals to end the game 8-2.
